Question: Can other solar controls be used with the PCS3?

Answer: Yes. Other solar control systems can be used and also solar options with automation equipment for pools can be use. We recommend a non programmable solar control be used for simplicity. The PCS3 attic solar pool heater requires an attic sensor at its peak (solar), a bypass valve, a valve operator and a power relay to switch the attic power on and off.
