The SolarAttic PCS4 is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in parts and workmanship for 36 months from the date of installation, when the owner completes the registration requirements.
PCS4 parts and workmanship are covered for qualifying manufacturing defects.
Coverage runs from installation date when registration and proof of purchase are completed.
The PCS4 water coil is designed for long service life when pool chemistry is properly maintained.
How to establish installation date
Register within 30 days and keep proof of purchase.
To establish the installation date for warranty purposes, the owner must complete and return the warranty registration card within 30 days of installation and provide a receipted bill of sale as proof of purchase.
If the warranty is not registered, the warranty period begins on the date the unit was shipped from the factory, not the installation date.

Conditions that void warranty
Protect your coverage by protecting the PCS4.
Warranty coverage can be voided by improper chemistry, improper chemical feeder placement, seawater use, freeze damage, or failure to winterize in freezing climates.
- Pool pH maintained outside the required 7.2 to 7.6 range
- Use with ocean water or seawater
- Pool chemicals injected directly into the heater
- Chemical feeders installed upstream of the heater instead of downstream
- Improper winterization in freezing climates
- Freeze damage caused by improper winterization
Salt water pools
Salt chlorination does not automatically void the warranty.
Good news: the PCS4 warranty does not become void simply because the pool uses a salt chlorination system.
Learn more about PCS4 salt water pool compatibility
Use in pools utilizing salt, as a source of chlorine, does not void warranty.
The important requirement is that pool water chemistry must be properly maintained and the pool must not be ocean water or seawater.
